2/27/2025 4:21:00 PM | Track & Field
SPOKANE, WA - The Wildcats head to the Pacific Northwest to compete in the WAC Indoor Championship being held at The Podium USA in Spokane, WA. In the women's team race, it appears to be a three-way battle between Utah Valley, Grand Canyon, and Tarleton State. In the men's team race, Grand Canyon appears to be the clear favorite, with Utah Valley and UTA the only teams that might be able to slip by GCU. ACU will have a goal of finishing in the top-5 in both genders in this transition year between head coaches.
The ACU athletes with the best shot at a podium finish (top-3) include: Canaan Fairley in the men's heptathlon; Nele Huth and Natalie Poe in the women's pentathlon; Kailey Roskop in the women's weight throw; Sutton Welch in the men's weight throw; Ja'Dasia Sims in both the women's high jump and the 400; Donovan Ramirez in the men's triple jump; Luize Velmere in the women's triple jump; Sterling Glenn in the women's shot put; Miguel Hall and Kenan Reil in the men's 60 hurdles; & Andruw Villa and Kevin Castruita in the men's 5K.
