Before ACU: Colling enjoyed an outstanding career at Rockwall, competing in 6 different events at the
district meet level. In his senior year (2024), Collin won the District 10-6A 300 hurdles, finished 2 nd in the
110 hurdles, and 4 th in the pole vault. During his junior year, he competed in 5 different events at the
District 10-6A in that one year alone – finished 2 nd in the 110 hurdles; 3 rd in the 300 hurdles, high jump,
and pole vault, as well as running on the 4 th place 4x400 relay. As a HS sophomore in 2022, he also
competed in 5 different events – 2 nd iin the 110 hurdles and high jump; 6 th in the 300 hurdles, 7 th in the
long jump; and he ran on the 4 th place 4x400 relay. Competing for Club Vaultitude, Collin placed 4 th in the
USATF Junior Olympics 15-16 Decathlon, scoring 5,614 points in his first ever decathlon. His PR’s include:
14.27 in the 110 hurdles, 40.15 in the 300 hurdles, 6-4 in the high jump, 13-0 in the pole vault, and 20-
10.5 in the long jump. At Rockwall HS, Collin also played basketball and football, as well as club team
lacrosse.
