The ACU Athletics Media Relations staff oversees all communications, website content, and official statistics, and is responsible for serving the needs of not only the media, but also the coaches, student-athletes, and fans to tell the story of the Wildcats' athletic programs.
Requests to interview student-athletes, coaches and athletic administrators must be coordinated through the media relations office through the appropriate communications contact as listed below.
Media credentials may be requested at the link below, and must be submitted at least 24 hours before game time. Football credentials will be available for pickup at Media Will Call, which is located at the Wildcat Stadium Ticket Office at the main entrance (west entrance). Will Call opens 2.5 hours before kickoff.
Media interested in covering high school playoff games hosted by ACU should contact facilities and game operations director Michael Rasor.
Wildcat Stadium Photographer Sideline Policy: Only credentialed media members in a working capacity are permitted at field level during the game. Photographers must adhere to all sideline regulations and instruction from ACU Athletics staff members and representatives, and are asked to be considerate of other photographers.
Only full-time personnel representing ACU Athletics creative staff are allowed inside the team bench area, which spans between the 25-yard line markers. ACUTV, The Optimist, Abilene Reporter-News, local TV stations and other external media must remain outside the dashed lines at all times.
Media members on the sideline are not to enter the team bench area and are asked not to shoot into the bench area from directly behind it.
Photographers shooting from behind the end zones are asked to kneel so as not to block view of the game and play clocks.
