Before ACU: One of the top sprinters in west Texas, Aaralyn won both the 100 and the long jump at the
District 2-6A meet (she won the 100 in three consecutive district meets). At the Region 1-6A
Championship, she missed going to the state meet by the narrowest of margins in the LJ as she got 3 rd by
just 1.25 inches – the top 2 move on to state automatically. Her PR long jump mark her senior year (19-
0.5) placed her #40 among long jumpers in Texas. She also won the Area 1-6A/2-6A 100 for 3
consecutive years and was a regional finalist all three years in HS. She left Midland Legacy HS as the
school record holder in the 100. Her HS PR’s are 12.01 in the 100, 25.95 in the 200, and 19-0.5 in the LJ.

Personal: Aaralyn graduated from Midland Legacy HS in 2024. Her Mother is Maurin Strambler. Her
major at ACU is Social Work.

ACU felt like home and a place God wanted me to be, so I become the best version of myself and the best athlete I can be while glorifying Him in the process.
