Biography
2024-2025: Cross Country – an early season bout with sickness caused Vincent to miss the first three meets of the year, but he came back strong in the championship at season’s end. He finished 67th at the WAC Championship meet, then would run the 10K distance (the only time during the season for that distance) at the South Central Region Championship meet in College Station – finishing 101st in the field a the #3 ACU finisher.
Before ACU: Vincent had a good HS career running for the Bearcats of Aledo HS, with his greatest accomplishments on the track. As a senior, he had to rehab an injury for the entire XC season and eased into competition on the track, yet he narrowly missed going to the state meet as he placed 4th in the 1600 and 5th in the 800 at the Region 1-5A meet. During his junior year, he placed 4th in the District 5-5A XC meet and in the spring, he dominated the District 5-5A meet in the distances, winning both the 1600 and 3200 and placing 2nd in the 800. At the Region 1-5A meet, he missed going to the state meet by the narrowest of margins as he placed 3rd in the 800. That same year, he placed 9th in the 1600 at the TTFCA Meet of Champions in a loaded field, running his PR at that distance. As a sophomore, Vincent placed 3rd in both the 1600 and 3200 at the District 5-5A meet and same year he ran on a 4x800 relay that holds the Aledo school record. Vincent finished his HS career with PR’s of 52.15 in the 400, 1:55.79 in the 800, 4:18.35 in the 1600 and 9:37.76 in the 3200.
