2025-2026
Indoors – competed in 5 meets, starting the season with a 3 rd place finish in the TAMU McFerrin 12-Degree Invitational 60 hurdles. Places 11 th in the TAMU Charlie Thomas 60H, followed by a 2 nd place finish in the 60H in the TTU Jarvis Scott Invitation. Finished the indoor season with a podium finish at the WAC Championship finishing in 2 nd in the 60H and running the leadoff leg on the 5 th place 4x400 relay.
Outdoors – competed in 7 meets over the outdoor season, starting off with a 2 nd place finish in the ACU Wes Kittley Inv 110 hurdles, followed the next week with a 1 st place finish in the 110H at the ASU David Noble Relays. At the Texas Relays, Miguel placed 14 th in the 110H and at the TSU Joe Gillespie Invitational he finishes 2 nd in the 110H and 5 th in the 400H. At the WAC Championship, he again attained a podium finish as he finished 3 rd in the 110H, as well as an 11 th place finish in the 400H in a personal best time of 54.28. He also ran the anchor leg on the 3 rd place 4x100 relay. He finished the season at the D-1 West First Round Championship with a 39 th finish in the 110H.
2024-2025
Indoors – competed in 4 meets, including a 7 th place finish in the TTU Red Raider Invitational 60 hurdles; a 12 th place finish in the 60H at the TTU Jarvis Scott Invitational in a personal best time of 7.92, and capped off by a 2 nd place finish at the WAC Championship in the 60H, with a time of 7.94.
Outdoors – competed in 7 meets, concentrating on the 110 hurdles at each outing – 5 th in the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational; 11 th in the Texas Relays; 3 rd in the TTU Masked Rider; 10 th at the Michael Johnson Invitational; and 4 th at the Horned Frog Invitational. At the WAC Championship held at UTA, Miguel ran a new personal best of 13.83 in the prelims – his first time under the 14 flat mark in the 110H. He then placed 6 th in a very fast finals race with a time of 13.91. He finished his season by running the 3 rd leg of the 5 th place 4x400 relay.
2023-2024
Indoors – competed in 4 indoor meets. Set a PR of 8.28 in the 60H at the Jarvis Scott Open at Texas Tech. To finish up his first collegiate indoor season, Miguel placed 12th in the 60 hurdles at the WAC Championship held at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
Outdoors – competed in 7 meets, starting with a 3rd place finish in the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational 110 hurdles. He finished in 3rd place in the 110H at both the Joe Gillespie Invitational in Stephenville and the Mean Green Invitational in Denton. He completed his first collegiate outdoor season with a 7th place finish at the WAC Championship in a time of 14.39.
Before ACU
Competing for Klein Collins in the Spring ISD, Miguel had a strong HS career. In 2023, at the District 15-6A meet, he won the 110H and placed 3rd in the 300H. Then, at the Region II-6A meet, he finished 7 th in the 300H and was a finalist in the 110H, did not qualify for the state meet. His time in the College Park Invitational of 13.65 in the 110H put him #21 in the U.S. for high school students. Following his senior year, Miguel finished 5th at the Adidas Outdoor Nationals meet in the 110H. During his junior year in 2022, Miguel finished 3rd in the Region II-6A meet in the 100H, missing the state meet by a few fractions of a second. His time of 13.83 at the Spring ISD Invitational put him at #39 in the U.S. for HS students. He also leaves Collins HS as the school record holder in the 110H.
Personal
A 2023 graduate from Klein Collins HS. He is a Speech Pathology major at ACU. His parents are Dane and Paola Hall – his father, Dane, played soccer for Park University in MO and also played for the Jamaican National Soccer Team. During his HS years, Miguel was a member of the student worship team at Church Project in The Woodlands, TX. At ACU, he is a participant in the LYNAY (Love Your Neighbor as Yourself) program.
Why did you choose ACU? I chose ACU because of the tight-knit level of community that is practiced. To many other bigger schools, an athlete or even a student is considered just another number. But on the contrary, ACU's mission and priority is in the spiritual and overall well-being of the student. The Track and field coaching staff is amazing and more concerned with mental and physical health rather than overworking an athlete to get points.
