Track Competing in Two Meets This Weekend

ABILENE – Abilene Christian competes in two meets at three sites this weekend, including a brief, one-event stint at ACU.

The Cats are in McMurry's Warhawk Classic, which begins at ACU on Friday with the women's and men's javelin, featuring Jessica Campbell and Ethan Christian.

The meet moves to McMurry's Wilford Moore Stadium on Saturday. The Cats also are in the Sooner Invite in Norman, Oklahoma.

At OU, Payton Kirk is in the 100-meter hurdles and the long jump and joins Mackenzie Blain in the pole vault.

Zoe Burleson and Kailey Roskop are entered in the discus with Burleson doubling in the shot put. Roskop also is in the hammer throw with Kaitlyn Callaway, who also will throw the javelin.

Jacob Thomas is in the men's pole vault.

Athan Huelskamp is registered in the shot put, hammer and discus with Nathanial Collier also entered in the discus.

In Abilene on Saturday, Peyton Bornstein will run the 3000 steeplechase. Grace White, Kate Hansen and Katelyn Coldicott run the 1500 meters.

D'anna Smith is entered in the 100 meters and Paige Boucher is in the 100 hurdles. Campbell, Natalie Poe and Skylar Harris will run the 200 meters. Ja'Kaylon Sabbath, Ja'Dasia Sims, Savannah Walker and Gracyn Reed are in the 400 meters.

Bella Evans and Breonna McCarthy-Reese are in the 800 meters.

Coldicott, Evans, Hansen and Bornstein are entered in the 4x400 relay.

Harris and Poe are logged into the long jump and high jump. Mackenzie Blain is in the pole vault.

Zach Young, William Harris and Joseph Baluti are in the men's 100 meters. In the 200 meters are Matthew Mills, Addison Franklin, Jack Marshall, Jared Williams, Young and Baluti. Jeremy King and Horatio Brooks are entered in the 110 hurdles.

Williams, Mills, Tyce Chaney, Brooks and Keaton Raney are registered to run in the 400 meters.

Neal Helgerson, Raney, Noah Jones and Gabriel Trevino are in the 800 meters.

Levi Chambers is in the 1500 meters.

Harris will be in the triple jump and Caleb Lawrence is in the long jump.

Christian is in the pole vault, high jump and discus.
