Wildcats Roll Past Hilltoppers

AUSTIN – ACU ran their winning streak to 11 games after cruising to an, 8-1 win over St. Edward's in non-conference women's tennis action at the South Austin Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats swept singles action against the Hilltoppers taking all six matches and won No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to improve to 12-3 on the season. ACU continues this week as they head to Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Invitational over spring break.
Cassie Carver at No. 3 singles was pushed to three sets before winning, 6-0, 6-7, 11-9, as the Wildcats closest singles match of the day. No. 1 singles Julia Mongin took a two set win, 6-4, 6-3 in her match as the closest sweep.
