ACU Women’s Tennis Nets Four on Academic All-District Team

The Abilene Christian women's tennis team earned the maximum amount of 2026 Academic All-District recipients from College Sports Communicators, as announced Tuesday morning.
The program, which won the Best Team GPA award at ACU's Wildcat Choice Awards for the second year in a row, had four players recognized for excellence on the court and in the classroom. To qualify, a player must appear in 75% of her team's days of competition while also earning at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Jess Board – sophomore, Sale, Australia
Maria Cascos – senior, Gijon, Spain
Alice Klinteby – senior, Falkenberg, Sweden
Masha Vrsalovic – senior, Cochabamba, Bolivia

- Played in 21 of ACU's 23 matches
- Went 7-8 in singles, all at No. 2 line
- Second Team All-WAC
Alice Klinteby – senior, Falkenberg, Sweden
- 4.00 GPA, psychology major
- Played in 20 of ACU's 23 matches
- All-WAC Second Team
- Two-time WAC Singles Player of the Week winner
- Went 9-7 in singles
Masha Vrsalovic – senior, Cochabamba, Bolivia
- 3.95 GPA, interior architecture and design major
- Played in all 23 of ACU's matches
- Competed at No. 1 line in both singles and doubles all season
- Compiled records of 9-10 (singles) and 9-8 (doubles)
- First Team All-WAC
- All-WAC Tournament Team
- Four-time winner of a weekly conference award
- Finished runner-up in singles and doubles at the WAC Fall Individual Tournament
