Wildcats Host Season-Opening Home Tournament

The Abilene Christian women's tennis team faces outside competition for the first time in 2026-27 with the ACU Invite at the Eager Tennis Center from Friday-Sunday.
The Wildcats welcome six teams, including two Power 4 opponents and two fellow United Athletic Conference schools:
Matches begins at 9 a.m. each day and admission is free.
In 2025 ACU Invite, senior Masha Vrsalovic went 2-1 in Flight B while freshman Elsa Luthar advanced to the championship match of Flight F.
The Wildcats were led by four seniors last season with three earning All-WAC honors at the end of the year. Victoria Correa returns after making the All-WAC 2nd Team as a freshman.
Junior Jess Board is the only other returner with junior transfers Alem Cote (Creighton) and Che Nel (Kennesaw State) joining five freshmen on the roster.Â
Head coach Bryan Rainwater enters his sixth season leading the Wildcats, who finished runnerup in the 2026 WAC Team Tennis Tournament in the spring.
