ABILENE -- The seventh-ranked ACU Wildcats had no trouble recording their sixth straight victory Saturday afternoon as they easily handled Central Oklahoma, 8-1, in a Lone Star Conference match at the Eager Tennis Center.
The win pushes the Wildcats to 19-3 on the season as they get ready to head to Montgomery, Ala., next week (April 1-3) to play in the Blue-Gray Classic.
The Wildcats won all six singles matches and won all six matches in straight sets. The only win the Bronchos posted on the day was at No. 1 doubles where the team of Lacy Caldwell and Virginia Rodriguez knocked off ACU's Jaclyn Walker and Dina Pavlin, 8-3.
