STEPHENVILLE – Abilene Christian dropped a 4-3 Western Athletic Conference match at Tarleton State to close the regular season on Saturday.
ACU won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 by Maryjoe Crisologo and Libby Blair and No. 3 by Olivia Sears and Andrea Guerrero.
Guerrero and Blair picked up wins in singles. Guerrero won in three sets at No. 5 and Blair got a straight-set win at No. 6.
The Wildcats play Thursday at noon or 3 p.m., depending on the remaining matches on Saturday, in the WAC Tournament in Harlingen.
