Cats Look Strong at Texas Relays

AUSTIN – Abilene Christian posted four top-10 finishes at the Texas Relays on Friday, including two in the discus.

Colt Cooper was fourth at 52.82 meters and Athan Huelskamp placed ninth at 50.47 in the men's discus.

Ja'Dasia Sims had a personal best in the high jump, clearing five feet, 8.75 inches and placing second.

The men's 4x400 relay of Matthew Mills, Tyce Chaney, Canaan Fairly and Cooper Goggans was sixth at 3:17.75.

The sprint relay squad of Chaney, Ethan Krause, Tiras Reed and Goggans was seventh at 3:26.93.

The meet concludes on Saturday.
