At McMurry: Played football for McMurry when he initially came to campus. Began to pick up the javelin in the 2021 season and then, competed in 9 meets for McMurry in the 2022 season, finishing the year by getting 2^nd in the ASC javelin. During the season of 2022, he also won the HSU Invitational JT, placed 2^nd in the War Hawk Classic JT, and 4^th in the Oliver Jackson Twilight here at Elmer Gray Stadium. He was also an Academic All-Conference athlete in 2022. Placed 5^th in the Puerto Rican FAPUR Championship JT in the summer of 2022 with a PR throw of 198-9.5/60.59m. Did not compete outdoors in 2023 due to a serious torn Achilles injury – gained a medical redshirt for the year.

Prior to college: Christian was a three-sport letterman for the Azle HS Hornets – getting All-District honors in football, basketball, and baseball. He was also an Academic All-State member in his senior year.

Personal: 2019 graduate of Azle. He received his BBA in Business Administration/
Entrepreneurship in the spring of 2023. His parents are Manuel and Nelly Morales.
