2023-2024: Football – after an early-season move from offense (tight end) to defense (defensive end), he played 8 games, with 30 tackles and a sack.

2022-2023: Football – played in all 11 games during the 2022 season, with 8 starts as a redshirt freshman. Caught 16 passes for 146 yards (9.1 yards per catch), with 2 TD receptions. Indoors - Competed in 4 meets for the Wildcats, finishing his indoor season by placing 9^th in the WAC Indoor Championship shot put, with a collegiate PR throw of 49-9/15.16m. Outdoors - threw both SP and DT in 3 meets for ACU before an injury curtailed his season. At the Wes Kittley Invitational, he placed 6^th in the DT (with a new collegiate PR of 172-4/52.53m) and 8^th in the SP.

2021-2022: redshirt both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors – competed in 2 meets unattached – at the Oliver Jackson Twilight, he was 4^th in the discus (175-11/53.64) and 6^th in the shot put (50-5.5/15.38m) competing unattached. Colt also redshirted for ACU football after playing in 2 games.

Before ACU: At the 2021 4A state meet, Colt won both the shot put and discus. His discus best of 183-10 ranked him #29 in the U.S. and his SP best of 61-3.5 ranked him #31 nationally. Colt was also the All-state Tight End and a State Champion in Powerlifting.

Personal: Colt graduated from Quinlan Ford HS in 2021. Parents are Chawn and Karen Cooper. He has been a Kinesiology major and has been member of the Dean’s List at ACU.
