ACU Soccer vs. UTEP Moves to 11 a.m. Sunday

Sunday's Abilene Christian soccer match against UTEP at Elmer Gray Stadium has been moved up to an 11 a.m. start time, according to head coach Stephen Salas.
The game is still scheduled to stream on ACUSports.com.
Abilene has been experiencing a heat wave for much of August and the forecasted high temperature on Sunday is near 105 degrees. Canopy tents will be set up in the permanent stands to provide fans with shade.
The Wildcats (1-1-0) nearly earned a 1-1 tie in Thursday's game against New Mexico State but a last-second goal was ruled to have been scored after the clock expired. UTEP (2-0-1) tied Tarleton State 1-1 in Stephenville on Thursday night.
The game on Sunday was originally set for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
