FLORENCE, Ala. — After playing each team in the Red Division once, the Wildcats will now venture into the Blue Division facing the University of North Alabama and Austin Peay State University. ACU has a 1-0-2 record in conference so far, with a 4-2-5 overal record.
The Wildcats have continued their strong defensive efforts through 11 games this season, with Bella Medrano ranking sixth in individual save percentage, while the team as a whole is fourth in the NCAA.
On the other side of the ball, Addison Briscoe has continued her outstanding offense scoring her fifth goal against Central Arkansas on Sunday. Her five goals are the most by a freshman since the Wildcats' 2019 season, when freshmen Caylen Wright and Natalie Jones scored eight and seven respectively. Â
On Thursday, the Wildcats will return to the road when they travel to North Alabama. The Lions are 2-1 in conference play, with their sole loss coming to Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 4.
North Alabama has averaged 15 shots per game through 10 games this season, allowing only 11.5, while ACU's marks are higher in both categories. The Wildcats shoot 17.2 shots per game while facing 13.2.
This will be ACU's third time to play the Lions, with the Wildcats holding a 2-0 record. The most recent matchup was a 5-2 victory for ACU in 2019, when Natalie Jones scored two of her seven goals on the season.
The Wildcats will then head to Tennessee for the first-ever matchup against Austin Peay, who sits in third in the Blue Division. Overall, Austin Peay is 2-9-1 this season, and have failed to score in six of their losses.
The Governors have started the conference portion of the season 1-2, most recently finding their win over West Georgia in their highest offensive performance of the season, scoring three goals and only allowing one.
After Sunday's match against Austin Peay, the Wildcats will be halfway through the conference slate of the 2026 season.
Thursday's match against the North Alabama Lions will stream on ESPN+, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
