Women’s Tennis Stays Hot Against SFA

ABILENE - Less than 24 hours after defeating the Roadrunners from UT San Antonio, the ACU women's tennis team turned around and found the same result against the Lumberjacks from Stephen F. Austin University.

In a dominant afternoon, the Wildcats bested SFA 5-2 on Saturday afternoon. Capitalizing off the momentum from the victory over UTSA, the team came out hot in the doubles matches to start the day.

Masha Vrsalovic / Alice Klinteby bested their doubles opponents 6-3, and the pairing of Jess Board / Victoria Correa cruised past its opponent 6-1.

Doubles partners Maria Cascos / Angela Del Campo led their matchup 4-3 before the doubles point was clinched, leaving the match unfinished.

Cascos, Klinteby, Correa and Elsa Luthar provided all four of ACU's singles wins in straight sets.

This victory gives the team its first winning record of the still-young 2026 season and improves the home record to 2-0.
