Myles, Shaffer Land on Stats Perform FCS All-America Teams

ACU's pair of linebackers, Rashon Myles, Jr. and Will Shaffer, has earned a second all-America honor in a three-day span with the Stats Perform FCS All-America Teams being announced on Wednesday.

Myles was named to the second team, while Shaffer landed on the third team.

Both joined teammates WR Javon Gipson and DB Doran Plumley as FCS Football Central All-America honorees on Monday of this week.

Shaffer led ACU in tackles for the second year in-a-row. His total of 119 is good enough for 9th most in Wildcat single-season history. His 123 tackles during the 2024 season rank 6th most. Only one other person -- ACU Sports Hall of Famer Chip Bennett -- has recorded two seasons that are in the top ten of ACU's single-season record book.

Myles finished with 113 tackles, which is tied for 12th most in a season. The redshirt junior also had five fumble recoveries -- the most by any player in NCAA Division I football in 2025. Myles has one year of eligibility remaining.
