Four Abilene Christian football players earned spots on the 2025 FCS Football Central All-America teams, which were released on Monday.
Linebacker
Rashon Myles, Jr. was named to the 2nd Team while receiver
Javon Gipson, linebacker
Will Shaffer and defensive back
Dorian Plumley landed on the 3rd Team. The four selections are the most among all United Athletic Conference schools.
Shaffer and Myles were a powerful one-two combination in the middle of the Wildcat defense, combining for 234 total tackles. In the secondary, Plumley intercepted a team-high five passes to go along with 88 tackles.
Gipson became a force on offense with three straight 100-yard receiving games toward the end of the season. He finished with 1,022 yards to become just the 13th receiver in ACU history to post more than 1,000 yards in a season.
The Wildcats went 9-5, won the UACÂ championship, and reached the second round of the FCS Playoffs for the second consecutive year.
