Cats Get Back on the Court this Weekend

ABILENE – Abilene Christian jumpstarts women's tennis this weekend after illness and schedule breaks saw the team not play for nearly four weeks.
The Cats travel to UTEP for an 11 a.m. (Central) match on Friday, followed by a trip to New Mexico State on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. (Central) match.
The Wildcats are 2-4 this spring.
Andrea Guerrero and Libby Blair lead ACU this spring with four singles wins each and Blair has 13 singles wins when the fall tournaments are included.
Eva Arranz and Blair have been the most successful doubles combo this spring at
The Miners are 1-8 and on an eight-game slide that includes losses to WAC members Texas-Arlington, Tarleton State and UTRGV.
Carlotta Mencaglia leads UTEP with three singles and four doubles wins this spring.
NMSU is 2-6 after a loss Sunday at Incarnate Word.
Anna Pinaieva has four dual wins in singles to lead the Aggies.
