ACU Comes Up Short at Oklahoma State

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State managed a goal in each half and scored a narrow 2-0 win over Abilene Christian on Sunday.
"A resilient effort from the whole team, especially the backline and Savanna," said ACU Head Coach Stephen Salas. "Our work defensively was relentless throughout the whole game. The two goals we can correct in training. I'm excited for this team and where we are at going into conference play. There were some good chances today that we are creating in training, specifically in the first half. Proud of the effort and this team!"
The Wildcats managed shots on goal by Emma Nylund and Lox Neves.
Savanna Alba had eight saves in her 90 minutes in goal.
Now 5-3-1, ACU opens Western Athletic Conference action Thursday at UT-RGV in a 6:30 p.m. contest.
