Wildcats rally to beat South Dakota Coyotes, 4-2

ABILENE - Abilene Christian women's tennis overcame and early 1-0 doubles deficit and injury to one of its starting players to beat South Dakota, 4-2, Tuesday afternoon at the Eager Tennis Center. The Wildcats improved to 8-8 with the victory, while the Coyotes of the Summit League slipped to 2-3.

ACU was impressive in singles where it won four of the six contests with one left unfinished. All winning today a spot up in the lineup were Maryjoe Crisologo at No. 2, 6-4, 6-4, Allison Stewart at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0, Ileana Mocciola at No. 4, 6-3, 6-4 and Andrea Guerrero at No. 6, 6-0, 6-3.

The Wildcats return to action Friday with a 1 p.m. Southland Conference dual vs. New Orleans. ACU is 6-0 lifetime vs. the Privateers.
