2/17/2026 3:05:00 PM | Women's Tennis
ACU senior Masha Vrsalovic was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Singles Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Vrsalovic, a Bolivian-native, went 2-0 at the top singles line last week with straight set victories over UIW (6-2, 6-2) and Texas State (6-1, 6-4). Her other singles match against McNeese went unfinished in the third set.
Vrsalovic also compiled a 2-1 mark at No. 1 doubles with teammate Alice Klinteby, who won the WAC weekly award earlier this season. That pair reached the championship doubles match of the 2025 WAC Tennis Invitational last October. Vrsalovic was also the singles runner-up.
The Wildcats are 4-6 this spring and will play back-to-back home matches later this week -- vs. North Texas on Friday at 2:30 p.m., and vs. Sam Houston on Saturday at 10 a.m.
