Wildcats Head to Texas Relays and Bobcat Relays

AUSTIN/SAN MARCOS - This week, ACU T&F athletes will be competing at The University of Texas in the Texas Relays and at Texas State University in the Bobcat Invitational. The Texas Relays is the largest collegiate T&F meet in the Southwestern United States. Wildcat athletes will be competing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at both meets. Because of the schedules for the 2 meets and the close proximity of Austin and San Marcos, ACU will have some athletes who compete at both locations. Here are the athletes who have qualified to compete and times they will be competing at the Texas Relays:

Thursday

5:00 p.m. - Kenan Reil in the prelims for the 400 hurdles
8:40 p.m. – Mark Barajas in the 3000 meter steeplechase
9:55 p.m. – Zachary Martin in the 10,000 run

Friday – the morning session is full of prelims – the session starts at 9:30 a.m.

Ja'Dasia Sims jumps in the "B" section of the high jump
Women's 4x100 relay prelims Hana Banks, Ja'Dasia Sims, Laya'Lapri Ratney, Ja'Kaylon Record, alternate: Aaralyn Strambler
Men's 4x100 relay prelims - Kenan Reil, Ethan Krause, Miguel Hall, Tristian Small, alternates Canaan Fairley and Horatio Brooks
100 hurdles prelims – Laya'Lapri Ratney, Hana Brooks
110 hurdles prelims – Miguel Hall
100 prelims – Ethan Krause
4x400 relay prelims – Ja'Kaylon Record, Ja'Dasia Sims, Jess Reyes, Emma Santoro, alternate – Jalyn Childers
4x400 relay prelims – Landon Gary, Kenan Reil, Thena Krause, Canaan Fairley, alternate – Miguel Hall

Saturday

10:40 a.m. – 4x800 relay – Gracee Whitaker, Emma Santoro, Jalyn Childers. Jess Reyes
