LAS COLINAS – The ACU spring golf season reaches the halfway point this week when the Wildcats join 16 other teams at the Bob Sitton Invitational, which will be played at the TPC Four Seasons, the home of the AT&T Byron Nelson.
The Wildcats will be joined in the field by Southland Conference foes Lamar, Incarnate Word, Houston Baptist, Stephen F. Austin and Central Arkansas, as well as UT Rio Grande Valley, Bradley, Long Beach State, Wyoming, North Dakota State, Fairleigh Dickinson, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Texas-Arlington, Missouri State and Rutgers.
The 17 teams in the field will play 18 holes Tuesday, followed by 18 holes Wednesday and a final 18 holes Thursday. The course is set up to play to a par-71 over 6,767 yards.
The Wildcats' top five are Ryan Beatty, Dillon Vaughn, Luke Carpenter, Robert Johnson and Garrett Glanton, while Brandon Stites will play as an individual.
