ACU Rises to Fifth Place at Seattle U Redhawk Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Abilene Christian men's golf rose four spots to move into fifth place at 4-over 580 following the first day of action at the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay on Monday.
The Wildcats delivered one of the field's top performances to wrap up the day, scoring 1-under 287 in the final round after opening at 5-over 293. Teams will begin Tuesday's third and final round with a 10 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.
ACU is tied for second in the field with 30 birdies, while its 99 pars are good for fourth.
