Biography

Returned from back surgery that forced him to miss the entire 2014-15 season and played in three tournaments in the fall. Will compete for a top-five spot each week in the spring.
 
Fall 2015 (Redshirt senior):  Competed in eight rounds over three tournaments in the fall. … Had one top-50 finish: at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational where he finished tied for 46th after posting a three-day score of 223 (76-74-73). … The 73 he posted in the final round at the Falcon Invitational was his low round of the fall. … He had a scoring average of 77.8 strokes per round.    
 
2014-15 (Senior): Missed the season with a back injury.          

2013-14 (Junior): Competed through 20 rounds at seven tournaments ... Average score was 80.15 per round (8.70 vs. par) ... Lowest round of 72 was carded during the second round of the Charles Coody West Texas Intercollegiate, where he finished tied for 16th (2-over 146) ... Placed 59th at the Southland Conference Championships.

2012-13 (Sophomore): Competed through 20 rounds at seven tournaments … Average score was a 79.08 ... Lowest round was a 73, recorded during the third round of the Arkansas-Little Rock/First Tee Classic on his home course at Chenal Country Club … Best finish was a tie for 14th at Lone Star Conference Championships (+15 – 231) … ACU February Student-Athlete of the Month.
 
2011-12 (Freshman): Lone Star Conference honorable mention … Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection … Totaled 31 rounds through 11 tournaments, averaging a score of 76 … Shot a career low 67 during the second day of Grand Canyon Thunderbird Invitational en route to a 14th-place score of 3-under-par 213 … Finished ninth at the Lone Star Conference Championship with a three-over-par 219.
