Wildcats win in four over Cardinals

BEAUMONT, Texas — The Wildcats made the trip to Lamar for the first of two matches to close out the regular season and earned their first win on the road against the Cardinals. ACU moved to 8-4 all-time against Lamar and had two players reach double digit kills on the night. After the Wildcats took set one in extra points, the Cardinals came back to take the second set 25-20. Tied at a set a piece, the Wildcats earned another extra points win in set three before dominating set four 25-15 to take the match.

- Lindsey Toney led the way with 21 kills, her seventh match of the year with 20-plus kills.
- Jada Birkel also hit the double digit kill mark with 11 on the night.
- This was the Wildcats first road win against the Cardinals, the team was previously 0-3 in Beaumont prior to tonight.
- Bryley Steinhilber totaled 10 digs in just two sets of action and added four kills in the match.
- Three Wildcats registered double-digit digs with Madison Lawler leading the way, totaling 24 on the night.
- The team closed out the final set by running off the final four points including an ace from Sarah Nading for the win.
