Wilson Adds Six For 2011

ABILENE – Head Coach Casey Wilson and the 2010 Lone Star Conference Champion ACU soccer team has added six new players for the upcoming 2011 fall season.
“Coach Pertuit and I are very pleased with the additions to our roster for the fall of 2011,” said Wilson. “This past season we had a lot of talented underclassmen and these 6 new players will complement our set-up as we prepare for the coming year.”
Here is a list of the 2011 ACU signings:
· Megan Turner (Grapevine HS) Midfield/Forward
· Sarah Schoch (Amarillo HS) Midfield
· Madison Brown (Frisco Wakeland) Defender/Midfield
· Katie Stivers (Mansfield HS) Midfield
· Sara Richey (Lake Travis HS) Defender
· Taylor Brown (Southlake Carroll) Defense/Forward
The Wildcats are coming of their best season in school history winning a record 17 games and won the Lone Star Conference Tournament, both first's in the program. Wilson and the Wildcats also made their first trip to the NCAA Tournament knocking off Angelo State in the first round before falling to St. Edward's in penalty kicks.
