Wildcats fall to Blazers

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The 25th-ranked ACU Wildcats lost their third straight match Friday as they dropped a 9-0 decision to Valdosta State at the Blue-Gray Tennis Classic at the Lagoon Park Tennis Center.

The Wildcats are now 11-10 on the season after the loss to the nation's third-ranked team in the Blazers. ACU isn't scheduled to play Saturday in the tournament.

The only match the Wildcats were in came at No. 3 doubles where ACU's team of Jared Hope and Karl Bein dropped a 9-8 decision to Otto Lenhart and Frank Sickman of Valdosta State.

The Blazers won all six singles matches in straight sets to knock off the Wildcats.
