Biography

2008-09 (Junior):  Finished up his junior season as No. 1 and No. 2 in doubles going 23-9 winning at Nationally ranked #29 Hawaii-Hilo, #30 Sonoma State, and #18 California-San Diego … played at No. 2 with Ryan Hudson winning their doubles match in a 2-7 loss to #2 Valdosta State … helped ACU in knocking off #1 Cameron at the Lone Star Conference Championships, he won his doubles and singles match … finished 17-7 overall in singles playing in the middle three spots

2007-08 (Sophomore): Enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign, finishing 14-13 in singles and 17-10 in doubles on his way to earning honorable mention all-LSC honors.  In the fall of his sophomore season, he won the No. 3 singles title at the Lone Star Conference Championships.

2006-07 (Freshman): Hawk finished with a 23-5 singles record and 17-7 combined doubles record. He was selected the LSC Freshman of the Year and was a first team all-LSC selection as a doubles player.

High School: A four-year letterwinner, he only lost four matches during his high school career. Hawk won district all four years and won regional and state titles his last three years of high school.

Personal: His oldest brother, Dustin, played tennis at ACU and Texas Tech. His sister, Ashley, also played tennis at ACU. Another brother, Brandon, had a stellar playing career at The University of Texas at Austin and is now a professional tennis player. Born 28 May 1987.  2006 graduate of Clyde High School.
