
Four from Wildcat Men’s Tennis Named Academic All-District

The Abilene Christian men's tennis program was honored Tuesday morning as four players were named to the Academic All-District team by College Sports Communicators.
Four is the maximum number of award recipients a school can reach. To qualify for Academic All-District, a player must compete on 75% of his team's match days and earn at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Merse Deli – junior, Budapest, Hungary
Tomas Quesada – senior, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands
Ethan Scribner – senior, Plano, Texas
Luis Jose Nakamine – sophomore, Trujilio, Peru

- Earned a win over No. 57 ranked player in Oklahoma's Oscar Lacides for Abilene Christian's highest ranked win since 2016
- Only singles losses were to No. 2 Texas, No. 3 TCU and SMU
