Listed as a starter at wide receiver going into the 2006 season after an exceptionally strong spring. 2005 (Junior): Battled injuries throughout the season, catching just three passes for 24 yards on the season. 2004 (Sophomore): Caught 8 passes for 79 yards and one touchdown. His best game of the season was the season-opener when he caught two passes for 32 yards and one touchdown against Central Oklahoma. 2002-03 (Rice): Brock caught 11 passes for 164 yards as the Owls finished 5-7 in the Western Athletic Conference in 2003. His best game was against Nevada when he caught four passes for 57 yards. High school: Class 2A all-state halfback for coach Ric Smith. Named Class 2A Offensive Player of the Year by the Amarillo Globe-News. A member of the Globe-News Panhandle-Plains Super Team at halfback and at cornerback. Also named all-District 6-2A as a punter. Served two seasons as the Lynx' team captain. Led team to an 11-2 record while reaching the regional finals of the Division II playoffs as a senior. Helped Spearman post a 9-3 record and playoff appearance as a junior in 2000, rushing for 1,175 yards on 185 attempts (6.4 ypa). Grabbed 16 passes for 229 yards with 15 touchdowns. Rushed for 856 yards on 161 carries with 11 TDs as a sophomore in 1999, helping Lynx to an 8-5 record and the regional playoffs. Also participated in basketball and track. Team captain in basketball and an all-district hoops selection. Three-time academic all-district selection in both football and basketball. Valedictorian of his graduating class.
