ACU Cleans the Glass in Win Over Roadrunners

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The ACU men's basketball team got back on the winning track as the Wildcats outrebounded UTSA 44-32, leading to 18 more shot attempts in a 61-50 victory against the Roadrunners on Monday in the Jacksonville Classic, presented by Just Play.
ACU improves to 4-2 this season, and now has two wins against Division I competition (the Wildcats' first came vs. Omaha, 73-71, on Nov. 6).

- Rich Smith, making his 25th consecutive start in an ACU uniform, had 9 points, 5 assists, 3 steals, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
- Joseph Venzant had the second 5-steal game by a Wildcat this season, tying his career-high set during his freshman season at Liberty.
