Women's Golf Looks to Continue Strong Start

ABILENE – Abilene Christian looks to continue its impressive inaugural season of women's golf on Monday and Tuesday at the Dale McNamara Invitational, hosted by Tulsa at the Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow.
Delaney Martin, Ryann Honea, Manon Guille, Sydney Williams and Kate Pickrell make up the ACU team contingent with Jiyu Han participating as an individual entry.
ACU won its first-ever tournament, taking Central Michigan's A-Ga-Ming Invitational. The Cats finished fourth at the Red Raider Invitational on Sept. 26.
Martin is coming off of a third-place finish at the Red Raider Invitational where she shot a 212. In that same tournament, Honea shot 219, Williams and Guille were at 229, Han at 231 and Pickrell at 233.
Along with ACU and Tulsa, the field includes Arkansas State, Brigham Young, Cal Poly, Colorado State, Kennesaw State, Nebraska, Oklahoma City, Oral Roberts, Sam Houston, South Florida, Southern Miss and Texas-San Antonio. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have individual entrants.
The Golf Club of Oklahoma is a par-72, 6,242-yard course.
