ABILENE - Jenni Roller joined the Abilene Christian women's golf staff as an assistant coach, head coach Rob Bennett announced Tuesday. Roller recently wrapped up a four-year playing career at the University of Tulsa from 2022-26, where she powered the Golden Hurricane to a pair of American Conference titles.
Roller was an American All-Conference honoree in each of the past two seasons under Tulsa head coach Mike Roters. In 44 career tournaments, she collected 20 top-25 finishes, nine top-10 performances and one tournament title. The Jenks, Okla. native competed in four NCAA Regionals and two trips to the NCAA Championships.
"I am very excited to add Jenni to our coaching staff!" Bennett said. "As a player, she has been to the places we expect to go, and after just a few calls, it was clear to me that she has a heart for coaching and serving our young women. She comes from a rich golf background and has a lot of knowledge about the game, especially for a young coach. Jenni is a tremendous addition to our team as we continue to build one of the best golf programs in Division I!"
Roller registered a 74.2 career stroke average with 38 rounds at or below par with the Golden Hurricane. She tied for the victory at SMU's Veritex Bank Collegiate in 2025 in Dallas. As a senior, Roller guided Tulsa to a top-50 national ranking, per Clippd, as one of the top mid-major programs. She ranked 254th herself and closed the year at No. 463 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
The Golden Hurricane landed in the top six at each of their four NCAA Regionals featuring Roller, punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships in 2023-24. Roller was Tulsa's top performer at the Norman Regional in 2025, tying for 17th.
Roller earned her Bachelor's degree in finance with minors in real estate and psychology from Tulsa. At ACU, she will pursue her Master's in sports leadership.
Last summer, Roller was victorious at the WOGA State Amateur Championship.
Roller was a three-time state champion in high school at Regent Preparatory School and twice won the Oklahoma Golf Junior Girls Championship in 2021-22. In 2022, she captured the title at the Southern Hills Junior Masters. Roller's opening round 62 at the state championship is the lowest round ever recorded by a boy or girl in the state of Oklahoma.
Roller was raised in a family deeply connected to athletics. Her mother, Maggie, golfed at Tulsa and led the Golden Hurricane to the 1988 national title. They finished as runner-up in 1989. Roller's father, Bill, played baseball at Northwestern. Roller's brother, JP, golfs at Kansas State, while brother John Mark plays football at Southwest Baptist.
Outside of golf, Roller enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, exploring new coffee shops and traveling.
The Wildcats registered four top-three performances this past season, including a victory at the West Texas Classic and second place at the Western Athletic Conference Championship. ACU finished runner-up at The Lady Clerico and tied for third at the Red Raider Invitational. Jiyu Han returns next season after earning All-WAC Second Team honors. Bennett was named the WAC Co-Coach of the Year.
