Wildcats Visit Tarleton State on Monday

ABILENE – Abilene Christian heads to Stephenville for a WAC contest at Tarleton State at 6 p.m. on Monday.

ACU comes in at 10-11 overall and 5-4 in the WAC after a loss to Rio Grande Valley last Thursday.

Bryley Steinhilber leads the Wildcats with 2.96 kills per set with Ashli Edmiston at 2.74 and Braden Bossier at 2.2. Against WAC foes, Steinhilber averages 3.93 kills and Edmiston gets 2.84.

Madeline Guffy tops the Cats with 9.04 assists per game and averages 9.9 against the league.

ACU has been one of the nation's best teams in terms of service aces. They are 36^th nationally with 1.81 assists per set and 15^th in total aces with 149. Abby Christian leads the team with 29, followed by Guffy with 28 and Sara Carrizales with 23.

Carrizales leads ACU with 3.72 digs per set with Andie Sheppard at 2.98 and Bryley Steinhilber at 2.46.

Tarleton State is in the clutches of a seven-match losing streak and hasn't won since Sept. 23. TSU is 11-12 overall and 2-7 in the league.

Allison Bryant leads the Texans with 3.41 kills per set. Emma Burke gets 1.04 blocks per set to highlight the defense and also leads the squad with 32 aces. Matti Theurer averages 4.03 digs.
