Wildcat games now air on 102.7 FM The Bear

ABILENE - Beginning Saturday, Jan. 16 with a men's and women's basketball doubleheader, and going all the way through the remainder of the 2020-21 seasons, all Wildcat sporting events will now air on 102.7 FM The Bear in Abilene.

This comes after an announcement from 98.1 The Ticket that it will no longer be an affiliate of CBS Sports Radio. The Wildcats will now move over to "The Best Classic Rock in Abilene," 102.7.

There will still be the same ways to listen to Wildcat athletics: Grant Boone will continue to call the home and away men's basketball games and home women's basketball games on 102.7 The Bear. Zach Carlyle will still handle the majority of the women's basketball road games on 102.7 The Bear. Zach Carlyle will also call a handful of baseball games on 102.7 The Bear this spring.

No word has been made on what the plans are for the 2021-22 season, but all remaining games in 2020-21 are set on 102.7 The Bear.
