Biography
Sliva will provide depth at the outside hitter position for the Wildcats in 2009.
High school: Sliva was a three-year letterwinner at Hutto HS where she led the team to a three-year record of 107-18. As a senior in 2008, Sliva averaged 2.6 kills, 0.62 service aces, 0.53 blocks and 1.0 digs per set. She was a two-time first team all-district performer (18-3A in 2007 and 25-4A in 2008) and was the District 18-3A Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2006. Sliva also lettered in track and field and was a regional meet qualifier in both the triple jump (2007, 2008, 2009) and long jump (2007, 2008).
