Mya Stevenson, who in 2023 was the active leader in career home runs in the NCAA, joins the staff as a graduate assistant coach in the summer of 2023.
"I am thrilled to add Mya to our staff," said ACU Head Coach Abigail Farler. "She will be a great addition bringing a lot of experience and energy. Mya played under high-level coaching and has an incredible passion for the game. I am excited to get her to Abilene!"
Stevenson finished her career with 71 home runs, including 12 in the 2023 season at Ole Miss. She had 19 home runs in her senior season at Marshall and was a three-time All-Conference USA selection.
She graduated from Mesquite Poteet High School, where she distinguished herself as both a hitter and a pitcher. She was District 15-5A Pitcher of the Year and set the school records for both strikeouts and home runs.
