ACU Earns 12 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

Twelve Abilene Christian softball players from the 2026 season were recognized for excellence in the classroom by earning the distinction of being an Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar-Athlete.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the 2025-26 academic year.
ACU's list of honorees includes three seniors - Elizabeth Schaefer, Emalee Romero, and Valerie Ornelas - and three players who will return for the 2027 season -- Ella Beeman, Erianna Garcia and Savannah Crocker.
The Wildcats earned a 3.46 cumulative GPA as a team.
