3-point range. High School: Played for North Garland High School where he was a first team all-District and all-City performer in his senior season. Brooks averaged 18.5 points, 3.5 steals and 3.2 assists per game during his senior season to help his team win the district championship. Started three years for head coach Joe Driver.
