2014-15 (American River JC): Call was a two-year starter at American River, but missed some time in 2015 because of a broken hand, an injury sustained in the third game of the season. … He rebounded from the injury to finish the season hitting .268 in Big 8 Conference play and had 12 RBI and one home run on the season.
 
High school: As a senior, Call hit .299 with a .422 on-base percentage, helping his team finish 18-9 on the season. … Call was all-conference in baseball in 2012, and he also earned all-conference honors in water polo in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
