Junior: In his first season with the Wildcats Calhoun earned Daktronics all-America honors and ABCA First Team all-Region accolades … he led ACU in batting average at .413 finishing with 11 homeruns and 53 RBIs … he was second on the team in hits with 95, runs scored (65), and total bases (150) … Calhoun also earned his due on the mound as well going a baffling 5-1 on the season … he finished with a 5.10 ERA in 11 starts in 65 1/3 innings of work … he struck out 49 while only walking 22 … he recorded a season high 4 hits twice both in wins over Central Oklahoma and Texas A&M-Kingsville … he had a 2 homerun game against Angelo State going 3-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs … was outstanding in the LSC Championship game going 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored and going 7 innings on the mound earning the win while striking out 5 … he recorded a season high 6 strike outs twice against East Central and to clinch the regular season championship against Cameron … Calhoun was also named First Team all-LSC Designated Hitter

Howard College: Calhoun was a NJCAA First Team All-American … helped lead Howard College to a 63-1 record including a 57-0 start … Helped the Hawks win the 2009 National Championship and was the winning pitcher in the Title game over Santa Fe College … was second in the nation with a .497 batting average driving in 63 runs … voted Rawlings Big Stick award winner for Southwest Region … had 38 extra base hits including 25 doubles and 10 home runs with and on base percentage of .583 … was also stellar on the mound for the Hawks posting a 0.337 ERA in 26.2 innings of work … he struck out 21 while only walking eight … posted an 8-0 record while recording 3 saves

Paris JC:
As a freshmen Calhoun hit .283 with 2 home runs … he drove in 22 runs at the plate … on the mound he recorded a 4-2 record in 66 innings and a 3.27 ERA

High School:
At Duncanville High School Calhoun hit .345 as a senior as was named All-District ... on the mound he posted a 1.80 ERA with 96 strikeouts
