Biography

Junior: Was fifth on the team with a .360 batting average in his first season with the Wildcats … had 82 hits and scored 49 runs … was one of five Wildcats with over 100 total bases including 13 doubles and three home runs … had a .456 slugging percentage adding 26 RBI’s … made the move to second base at ACU and recorded a .979 fielding percentage … had three or more hits in the series with Central Oklahoma including four hits and two runs scored in the finale on 2/22/09 … had nine games with three or more hits

 

Sophomore (Texas Tech):  Followed up his freshmen season with third best batting average for the Red Raiders hitting .318 as he started in every game … scored 39 runs knocking in 33 … had a .409 on base percentage recording 20 walks and 11 doubles … made the move to shortstop and recorded a .950 fielding percentage

 

Freshmen (Texas Tech): Wrapped up his freshman season with a .299 average along with 46 hits, eight doubles, two home runs and 15 RBIs...made 40 starts on the year and played in 49 games...earned his first career start at second base in the second game of the season against Stephen F. Austin. Went 1-for-4 at the plate with four assists and three putouts...hit the first home run of his career against New Mexico on Feb. 2 - led all Tech hitters with a 3-for-4 day at the plate and added two RBI...went 6-for-13 (.462 avg) at the plate during four games of the Red Raider Classic...added three RBI and two runs scored...led the Red Raiders at the Whataburger College Classic with a .545 batting average and earned All-Tournament honors at third base...hit in all three games to extend a hit streak to 10 games...had his 11-game hit streak snapped against Nebraska on March 16...went 0-for-5 with a season-high three strikeouts.

 

High School: Graduated from Abilene Cooper High School in May of 2006...was a three sport letterwinner at Abilene Cooper, participating in football, basketball and baseball...baseball coaches were Scotty Pugh and Terry Couch...on the diamond, Hall was a First Team All-District pick his freshman through junior seasons...did not play his senior year due to injury...on the gridiron, he was a First-Team All-District pick his senior year...served as Student Council President and in the National Honor Society.
