Junior: Watten followed up an outstanding sophomore season with another solid season at third base for the Wildcats … he started 50 games for ACU hitting .287 while driving in 41 runs … he recorded a season high 3 hits against UTPB and Cameron going 3-for-3 against the Aggies with 3 RBIs and 2 triples … finished the season with 3 homeruns as two came in the Northeastern series ... only committed nine errors on 79 chances in the hot corner

Sophomore: Started 57 games primarily at 3rd base where he recorded a .500 slugging percentage … had a .362 batting average knocking in 36 runs … scored 39 runs with 17 extra base hits including four home runs … had a fielding percentage of .983 from the hot corner … had three hits and three RBI’s against Tarleton in a 17-11 ACU win on 4/25/09 … recorded three or more RBI’s in a game four times … Watten also saw time on the mound as he started 3 games for the Wildcats recording two wins and a no decision … posted a 1.15 ERA in the three starts allowing 16 hits … struck out seven and only walked three in 15.2 innings of work
