Biography

Leyva will see floor time at middle blocker as a freshman in 2009. 

High school:  Leyva led Lake Travis HS to the Class 4A state tournament where it lost to Highland Park in a five-set thriller in the state semifinals.  Leyva led Lake Travis to the Class 4A state tournament last season where her team lost to Highland Park in five sets in the semifinals.  Leyva was a first team all-District 25-4A performer for Lake Travis.  She was named to the all-tournament team at the state tournament.

Personal:  Born 14 June 1991.  2009 graduate of Lake Travis High School.
