Ryan Jones was also beaned by a pitch to load the bases for Gray, who sent one to the wall in right-center field for a bases-clearing double that put the Wildcats on top early.
Regala doubled ACU's lead in the fourth inning, with Gray opening the frame with his second two-bagger of the evening. Reese Borho reached via an error by the TCU pitcher, setting the stage for the 5-foot-8 Regala's three-run shot to left field, moving the Wildcats in front, 6-0.
The Horned Frogs were quick to knot things up with three runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Four of their runs scored via walks or a hit batter. ACU prevented further damage by stranding the bases loaded in both innings.
In the fifth, Caden Greanead, making his team-high sixth appearance, entered with two outs and induced a flyout to end the threat. Galvan came on in the sixth and notched a three-pitch strikeout to leave 'em loaded.
After the first TCU batter in the bottom of the ninth struck out, the Horned Frogs walked-off the Wildcats with a solo homer.
