Wildcats Earn NABC Academic Awards

The ACU men's basketball team earned multiple awards for their hard work in the classroom from the National Associated of Basketball Coaches.
ACU received the 2024-25 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, which goes to college basketball programs that finished the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Five players made the NABC Honors Court which is for junior, senior and graduate student players who completed the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The following are the five ACU players who earned the distinction along with their major.
"Education is one of the NABC's five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport," said NABC executive director Craig Robinson. "The dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated."

- Hunter Jack Madden, Liberal Arts (Master's program)
- Joseph Venzant, Sociology
- Leonardo Bettiol, Business Administration: Management
- Rich Smith, Criminal Justice
